In modern test systems, particular attention is paid to the software platform used. In addition to the control of the handling and the adaptation, there is a multitude of test steps to be sequenced, data to be communicated via various interfaces and, in doing so, to check the reaction of the test object to the stimuli that have occurred.

In addition to standard sequencers (such as TestStand from NI), IPTE also uses software solutions developed in-house for these tasks. Standardized interfaces enable use regardless of the automation platform.
